Students who are unable to make the scheduled audition dates may submit a video-taped audition in the areas of Battery, Front Ensemble, Color Guard, and Twirlers

  • In the areas of Drumline, Guard, and Twirlers, it is our preference for you to be in attendance for the live audition. Those who submit a video will have less of a chance in making a spot in one of these sections typically

  • Drumline Video Auditions should include the candidate stating their full name, the instrument they are auditioning on, where they are from, playing through the audition packet located online for their specific instrument

  • Front Ensemble Auditions should include the candidate stating their full name, the instrument they are auditioning on, where they are from, playing through the audition packet located online for their specific instrument

  • Guard Video Auditions: Please make sure that you wear clothing that allows for movement and isn’t too loose on the body. For the audition video, start by introducing yourself, including your name, your age, and what year in school you will be for the upcoming season. Please prepare and demonstrate a 30-60 second piece that displays your technical and performance abilities on flag

  • Twirler Video Auditions are acceptable if an on-campus audition is not possible. Performance tapes are acceptable if it is a solo performance and the video is of good quality. Be certain that the video camera is framed so that both your hands and feet are visible at all times.
